Kicking the habit

Smokers looking for a new and innovative way to kick the habit had the opportunity to take advantage of the new “Freedom Laser Therapy” program at the Inkster Parks and Recreation Facility on Tuesday.  Here, a smoker listens to soothing music as Craig Nabat; the director of the Los Angles-based company administers a series of lasers to relax the patient.  “I find that most people can stop smoking in one session,” he said.  “The lasers relax them, and the positive messages they receive will help strengthen their resolve to quit.”  The company is located in Royal Oak, where the participants will follow up with an additional , if needed.
